Looking for some help with fish aggression. I recently add some new fish to my tank for the first time in over a year. My current fish are a small yellow tang, a smaller tomini tang, blue jaw trigger, 6 line wrasse, starry blenny and a mandarin goby. They all have been great with each other for the last 1-2 years no scraps or fights. I added a flame hawk fish, a tiny maroon clown and a file fish. The first day there was a few picking on the new fish but nothing major they all seemed to settle in. Day 2 all day all the fish were fine with each other until late afternoon my blue jaw trigger started attacking the file fish pretty relentlessly. I would intervene and the file fish would find a spot to hide but as soon as the trigger found him he was attacking him full on again. After a few times of that I was able to catch the file fish and put him in my 20g frag tank, that is connected to the system, to let him recover and de stress. This is the first I have dealt with aggression like this. Any tips? I would like to add the file fish back to my main tank at some point but don't want to hurt it either. Let me know, thanks!
