Fish and coral qt

Wondering what some of you might do here.
I have a 10 gallon qt setup that has been cycling for a while. No fish have gone into it yet. Ive been keeping an eye out for a second tank to qt coral. I just picked up a never used 20 gallon this weekend. I was thinking about using that for coral but now im thinking i want to transfer the water over from the 10 gallon and use the 20 for fish. I wont ever have very many fish in it but possibly 2-3 small fish at a time. Also it seems it would be easier to light the 10 gallon for coral qt.

So, any opinions or suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

That sounds fine. I like smaller tanks for coral qt for the exact reason you said.
