So I got a wyze camera for my tank when I’m away from my house for extended periods of time. I was playing around with the night vision settings of this camera and I realized after a bit of research that fish can see infrared. Do you think that the light from the infrared bothers the fish at night or is it not something to worry about? The whole tank looks like I’m shining a flashlight at it, it’s crazy, I can see everything

My fish do react when I spy on them using my PVS-14 and an IR illuminator. Even when it's pitch black. They might be able to see the glow from the eyepiece (which isn't pressed tightly to my face at night when I'm wearing glasses or if I'm trying to take a picture through the eyepiece). Or maybe they can see IR.

I definitely noticed when I activate the camera there are reactions to my inhabitants in my fish tank, I'm using ring camera. I had a secondary camera without any IR activation monitoring and when the other one activated with ir I noticed the quick movement with inhabitants each time the scenario played out
