Fish and invert behavior

I fed my fish tonight and that's when all he'll broke loose in the tank. 2 crabs went on a killing spree against 2 other crabs. The azure damsel went after the crabs and the nasarius snail and my blue and yellow damsel that is normally not shy about anything hid from it all. Could I be over feeding or under feeding or is this new life spectrum marine fish food cracking in a can?

I have 2 damsels i got yesterday on a recently cycled tank. This is the 2nd time feeding the tank with pellets and I haven't fed anything else. I fed about 10 pellets yesterday and 12 today.

They are all still fighting. And it's been over 30 minutes. I'm thinking about moving some of the cuc to the refugium.

If the tank is recently cycled there may not be enough for the animals to graze or pick at.My guess; they're hungry and the commotion freaked the one little dude out

Damsels are notoriously aggressive. They will fight over territory and stress other tank inhabitants. Idk if that's what is going in here.

Put them in the refugium, don't just watch. Lol

There's a very good chance as well that they could be fighting each other for the shells as well.Snail hunting is something hermits do well

Get some empty shells to put in the tank so the change shells often. They like that.

Here is some comments about damsels on a post reef2reef put on Facebook. It is about what you will never put in your tank again. Most people say damsels. IMO, damsels should not be sold for the most part cause they are so mean. I won't put one my tank. Read the first four comments.

I'm not planning to keep them. The fish store will let me trade them in for store credit but most of the fish I want are over $100 and I didn't want to start with them.

Lol. I have about 5 empty shells in there. Tonight's behavior was out of hunger I think. The big crabs we're going after the little ones. Not she'll envy. At least I don't think.
