Is it bad, that it seems like my fish are eating my algae, in certain areas, down to the bare rock? Every week there will be a bare spot on my rocks where the fish ate it all. I don't know if this is good or bad. Thanks

that is a good thing lol unless your tank is a macro algae tank then maybe you shouldnt have those fish in there

I see them eat it, I just wondered if it can be bad at all that they eat it down to the bare rock, to where it's whitish, like when I first got the live rock

No, I grow micro algae in a connected refugium on the side. I thought it was good, it just threw me off how much they've eaten

Nope. Extra food. But as long as the fish eat it rather than you trimming it the nutrients are cycling back into the tank. So export is not happening. Although you might be able to cut feeding since they already are. That should cut nutrients a bit. But it won't hurt anything.
