Fish Bendazole dosage question

I got Fish Bendazole which contains 250 mg of Fenbendazole along with other inactive ingredients . In reading I see it is recommended to use 95mg/gal of Fenbendazole but, since there is other things in the Fish Bendazole I wanted to make sure I am using the correct amount. Am I using 95mg/gal of Fish Bendazole or do I need to use higher amount to get the 95gm/gal of just the Fenbendazole (the active ingredient)?

If I buy Fenbendazole form NFP it says it is pure but the Thomas Labs fish Bendazole is not pure and a packet weights 2.o grams with only 250mg of Fenbendazole. So I am confused as to the dosage I use for each one of these meds.

I have the Thomas Labs FBD, 30 pkt container. It says the each pkt contains active ingredients FBD - 250mg. I do not see anything about 2g?
So, you should use each pkt of the FBD at 250mg.

I weighed 1 packet and it weighs 2.0 grams. But there is only 250 mg in this one packet of the 2.o total weight. So if I weight out the 95 mg of this packet I am not getting 95 mg of the active ingredient

The pkt contains the 250mg of FBD which is what is important. The bag contents weight (including inactive ingredigents) is not important.

You need to use the entire contents of the pkt to get the 250mg of FBD....use the entire bag contents.
The writing on the small blue pkt should say "FENBENDAZOL, 250mg"

But the directions to use as a 12 hour bath says to use 95mg /per gallon of Fendazole. Therefore I can't use whole packet.For a 10 gal qt tank I need 950mg. So if I add 4 packets to 10 gallons I am overdosing.

For 10 gal of water the 95mg/gal = 950mg or four 250mg pkts will work fine. That would only be 50mg over and not significant. I have used four pkts in 8 gal of water w/o any issue.
You likely will not have 10g water in that tank, so perhaps 3, 250mg pkts for 8 gal of water would be better.

If you want to be precise at 95mg/gal then four pkts @250mg = 1000mg while for the 10g you want 950mg.
If indeed the packet contains 2g total weight...2000mg total/250mg fbd = 8, or
50mg fbd less is 8 x 50 = 400mg less of the total pkt weight.
