So I have a 4 inch Naso tang 2inch hippo tang and black molly and melanurus wrasse in a 29 gal QT. They are doing great eating no flashing no scratching swim ok but my only concern is they seem to be breathing fast. I am ammonia badge that reads 0 perfect. 78 degrees. The Naso shows some stress spots. But the thing that has me concerned is they seem to be breathing fast. Especially the hippo. Naso second fastest. Wrasse seems fine. Could this just be stress from small tank. I do have a bunch of pvc Elvis in there to hide. Could it be flukes on gills. I see no external parasites. Please help got me stressed. Oh tank has been cycled for long time and should be clear of meds

A couple of thoughts.

A freshwater dip would give you more information on the condition of your fish.

Do you have a foam bubble filter in the QT to add more O2?

Ah 1.023
Amoniia 0
Nitrate 20
Didn’t test pho’s as I use RODI water and just a qt for fish
Temp 78
I did just put in an airline and stone to add more O2

If it's just QT adding more O2 should help maybe a powerhead to aerate surface might help.
