can i use a fish breeding box to acclimate my fish in my saltwater tank

That should work as long as it stays on, big enough for the fish to move and turn, a secured lid, and has holes for flow to go through

Wait…, Molly. You will need to do drip acclimation as your intention is beyond the purposes of socialization/introduction

Typically takes a few days to get mollies from fresh to salt. Starting low, and slowly increasing the salinity over several days to get to reef salinity. Pretty sure there is a thread around here somewhere discussing how it's done.
