I got these 2 at the same time, Brown tang goes after Blue tang like this a lot (see attached link). Brown only does it with the blue, I tried to separate for a week, rearrange the rocks and put up mirrors. I believe it is bulling but want to make sure before i rehome Brown. Is it bulling, playing or mating thing? Thanks friends.

I’m not sure, there does appear to be some tension between them.

The last time I owned a power brown tang was in 2018. It pretty much beat everyone up in my tank and I had to rehome him.

Its weird cause they dont look like they are fighting but they also dont look as if they like each other. Strange video

This should be interesting. They aren't tail smacking yet. The swiming like they are doing probably won't stop, it's what tangs do all day non stop. They look to be the only two fish in the tank so there is nothing for them to focus on except each other. I keep tangs but would never consider keeping these two together but hoping it works for you.

They are probably trying to figure out a pecking order for the tank. Keep an eye out for damaged fins. Consider placing a mirror on the tank.
I have one so far I don't think it's helped and I try moving it to different spots and some it seems like it helps for a little bit but back to racing Chase. Thanks

There is a Regal Angel inside but they seem to leave him alone. The brown one might be defensive over food now and then but they don't bother him. And they all sleep in the same area

If agression does start up get yourself a acclimation box. I just picked one up for a mystery wrasse that is aggressive. I recommend this one it's sturdy and large enough for a small to medium tang for a few days.

Alternatively you can buy a cheap egg crate and divide the tank in half, to give them some space.
Are you talking about the square thing cutting it up and putting it in there? Sounds like a good idea. Kind of hoping it will stop and they will be friends. It's not all the time they do it just about half. Thanks
