I think they look OK. Not eating well yet. Only concern is Anthias poop. Looks white and stringy? I got them on Friday. Didn't add any chemicals yet.

You can feed them metro/focus in food as a dewormer. Should take care of the white, stringy poop. They look good otherwise :)

What are you feeding? Live blackworms might help get their appetite going.

Wish I could get some live food. Tried three different frozen so far and pellets. I'll order some meds just in case. Thanks.

Hard to see but poop photo is the last one.

Frozen cyclops got my leopard eating, and I have nutrimar ova on order to try with my mandarin. All my fish except the regal go nuts for black worms. Even my little minnows [emoji38]

I just ordered some freeze dried black worms. Hope that is OK?

Do you think I should add metroplex to the water? I don't have focus yet. I was going to dose prazi but didn't yet.

Not quite the same, nutritionally, but worth a try :) the idea is to find one thing they like and expand from there

I just got some anthias that didn't want to eat for 4 days. Cyclops is what got them going.

I wouldn't do prazi and metro together. You can dose the water with metro, but obviously keep working on getting them eating so you can feed it to him when you get the focus. It's ok to feed and treat the water at the same time.

With blackworms I find that the movement is what triggers the feeding response so readily, so freeze dried or frozen won't do that, nutrition aside.

However, its still worth a try

If the fish aren't eating, then your only choice is to add it to the water. The fish drink some of the water they are in so it's likely that some of the medication will make it to their gut. When you get them eating, you can switch to feeding the metroplex to them.

So I should hold off on prazi and copper treatment while in QT and address this first? Maybe it's just stress from shipping?

How do I feed them metro? I just see about dosing per 10 gallons in the water.
