Hello I'm about a month and a half into my Red Sea Max e260 and need help on what fish to choose. I'm new to the hobby... I'm doing ULM corals and I have 2 Green Chromis , 2 black & white Oso clowns, 2 Astrea snails and a Emerald crab. I would like a Wrasse unless you all thing no, also would like a yellow Tang. Not all at once of course. Wants some popping color fish that are easy to keep and want to be fed...... What are your thoughts?

It looks like that tank has a footprint of about 3'x2'. I would not get a yellow tang.

Lots of wrasses to choose from, especially flasher and fairy wrasses. A yellow (Halichoeres chrysus) would be a good substitute for the yellow tang.

So I guess the yellow tang need more side to side room to move?

Yeah and they can dominate so if you do add one add it last. I'd look into the flashers and fairies for pop. The H. Chrysus is a great addition and pest hunter too.

I’m about 2 months into my Redsea E260. Some of the fish I’ve chose so far are a midas blenny, linespot flasher wrasse, helfrichi firefish, and orchid dotty back. Dustin

For Fairy and Flasher wrasses you need to have a screen top or else you just get a lot of expensive fish jerky.
Do you have a sand bed?
Leopard wrasse? Flame angels? Melanurus wrasse?

I have this, SPECIAL GRADE ARAG-ALIVE! LIVE REEF SAND and a Artfully Acrylic lid.

Then Fairy and Flasher wrasses are fine. They are beautiful. Flame Angel should do OK in this tank also. Mandarin, Royal Gramma, orchid dottyback......

Flashers are. Fairy wrasses depends on species. There is a thread by Evolved on reefsafe wrasses right above you should read. This will start you on your on which wrasses. All the other fishes I mentioned can do well in a community tank. Your tank is on th smaller side. Pick some but not all. Research on each species specifics before you add.
