I'm looking at adding a longnose hawkfish to my 75g display. I've read that they're hit or miss with bottom dwelling Gobies and Blennies. I've got a purple firefish, lawnmower blenny, midas blenny, and a yasha goby w/shrimp. Could anyone add any insight in this and recommend or not recommend adding a longnose hawk or pygmy hawk. TIA

If the current assemblage is happy and healthy then why would you risk upsetting the peace with a new addition who is likely to make the tank an uncomfortable and dangerous place for what you have already?

I appreciate your question and I am replying to you with an answer that I have come to appreciate after violating the premise of my answer and learning that I have to be strong and reject my own desires for “just one more “ when it is already good and likely over crowded compared with the Ocean

I was going to get one till I saw they're hit or miss.

I'll share my current stock list below. Any reef safe suggestions would be appreciated. I'm looking to add a few more fish as everything has inhabited 1/3 of my tank.

Oscellaris Clownfish
Snowflake Clownfish
Purple Firefish
Algae Blenny
Bangaii Cardinal
Midas Blenny
Royal Gramma
Yasha goby
Green Chromis
McCoskers Flasher Wrasse
