Fish compatability

Just wondering if a scooter blenny, watchman goby and a mandarin will co exist peacefully. I have a 38 gallon IM tank with 60 lb of live rock. The scooter and watchman are already in and seem to get along fine.

Food supple would be the biggest concern -- and it is a big one.

Mandarins pretty much require a tank with no food competition - and it sounds like you've definitely got some.

The Mandarin will be dead within 4 weeks. You need a WELL established tank with a HUGE population of pods to support even one Mandarin. They rarely eat frozen/flakes. Your Scooter will outcompete the Mandarin but most Scooters will eat other foods.

Probably hold off on mandarin, dont need anything dying. I'll wait till I start a bigger tank. Thanks!

A bigger tank, and make sure you get one that's already taking frozen or prepared food as well as their usual copepods.
