I want to pick up a bristletooth white-tailed tang but was wondering if my yellow tang would ignore it or fight it off? I also have a fox face and blonde naso tang but when I once tried adding a purple tang the yellow wasn't having it. Just wondering if the bristletooth white tail would have better luck with the existing yellow?

having many yellows, they can be unwelcoming hosts to a new fish but I have found also that they calm down within 48-72 hours.
You can keep tank at low light to lessen aggression the first few days as well as placing a mirror against tank for 2-3 days in area where tang likes to habg out at .
Acclimation box is also an option
