I am currently cycling my first aquarium and keep going back and forth about what to put into my tank. I really would like to have a tailspot blenny, watchman goby, and royal gramma but I'm not sure if my arrangement of rock is suitable for all 3 in terms of hiding spots. Below is a picture of my setup. Do you guys think I'd have a good chance at them getting along? The tank is 30 gallons by the way. I do also plan on having a pair of clownfish but I assume they won't be a problem since they don't primarily stay in the same spaces as the other fish I listed.

Those three fish should get along fine....as long as the Royal Gramma is a young one. I don't mess with Royal Grammas since many turn very aggressive after a couple of years of age. Add your most docile fish first...then the most aggressive last.

You should be able to add the goby and blenny together...they live in separate places. Then maybe add the Royal Gramma and then a clown. Clowns are jerks and can be aggressive depending on the type you purchase. All fish will "argue" a bit when new fish are added....they must determine their pecking order. If one is constantly being bullied after a week or two, then you may need to intervene and remove one of the two.

Thanks for the tips looks like I'll go that route then. I'm glad you said to add the clowns last cuz I want the "designer" ones and don't want to throw in a $100 fish in the first two months after the cycle lol.

Also, your Buckeyes look pretty dang good. Think they'll beat Bama?

Provide caves and hiding and they will be happy and keep to their own. If you have future fish in mind, acknowledge which will get along before you begin stocking

Of course! The last time the Buckeyes played Alabama during the first BCS playoff system...Alabama had the #1 defense in the country...Ohio State put up 642 total yards of offense that game! I think they can do it again...

I bet you can tell I'm a bit biased toward the Buckeyes! Lol

Haha well good luck to you guys. I'm an Aggie fan so I kind of want Bama to win just so they look better. Other than that I just want a good game!
