Hey fellow reefers,
I have been wondering about my fish hanging out on one side of my tank. Seems they only like one side. They will swim on the other side briefly but always return to the original. I have 8 fish in A well-stocked 75-gallon. It is so strange they all hang out in half of the tank.
I've given it a bit of thought and can only come up with a few reasons why this might happen. Possibly a better environment. Flow, space, lighting. Maybe the environment outside the tank is causing them to be frightened of that side for some reason. Maybe it is that they prefer to stick with the other fish. Or maybe they just all like telling secrets about how less than stellar a keeper i am. LOL I don't know.
I was curious if anybody else has this happening to them. And also anybody's thoughts on it.
Thanks
