I'm running a 150 gal aquarium with 30 gap sump.

Current inhabitants:
Blue angel
Blue tang
Yellow tang
Bicolor foxface
2 clowns
2 yellow tail damsels
Lawnmower bleny
Assorted cuc

Blue angel eats any zoanthids I put in tank but leaves goniopora and candy canes alone.

Blue angel is wife's favorite so it stays.

Looking for corals that I can add color that angel won't use as use as snack.

Also thinking of adding one more fish. Suggestions on something to add color..

TIA

Sadly with angels and butterflyfish they are hit and miss when it comes to eating corals .
Try one particular species and see if they bother it .
for example : knowing it eats zoas cross them off the list .
Try acan , favia , or even some sort of sps

I know my emperor didn’t eat Xenia , palys , sps , but loved acan , favia , Duncan’s etc

the only angels will be dwarf, and few can be trusted then.
I and many I know have success with Flame angel, potters angel and midnight angel.

Hello, I’m new but do know that most blue angels aren’t reef safe and will snack on coral...with that being said it depends on the blue angel (some only snack on sps, some only lps or softy’s) really depends on the fish. Your best bet would to be to get some sps as there the least to get picked on...I recommend a nice piece of monti or birds nest but the color will really depend on your lighting and water chemistry. Hope this helps
