Fish Died Today

So I went to work today I didn’t think about the weather because I didnt check. I left my windows open today to let in fresh air but the weather hit the 90’s and my salt water tank has a canopy on it so it trapped all the heat from the light and the heat from having my windows open my house got super hot and the water temp also went up to the 90’s. I don’t know if that kills fish or not but I found my diamond goby, solarus wrasse and carpenter fairy wrasse dead at the bottom of the tank. Im missing my Coral Beauty, Firefish, Red Corris wrasse and my Melanurus Wrasse. My 3 Tangs survived, 3 damsels survived and my 2 clowns survived. What a horrible day. it really defeats you.

Sorry for the loses... my tank got 91/92 when the AC broke during a heat wave... I didn't lose any fish but did lose SPS.

I always keep frozen 2 liter water bottles in the freezer just in case to float in the tank during an emergency. Sorry for your lost

How do you pick yourself up after a loss?

Had my first few big (for me) losses this week. Feeling deflated and frustrated. For those who’ve been in the hobby for a while (or a little) how do you pick yourself up after a loss or run of losses?
