Here’s the story:

I bought a pair of mocha clowns from my lfs and within a month the male clown started showing signs of something (he had a couple of dots). I took the pair out of the DT and put them in a 10 gallon qt tank. My DT has been fishless for about 2 and a half weeks now, and I have been dosing Paraguard every day. The symptoms on the male have progressed and I was wondering if the disease would be now diagnosable through 2 picks of the male (sorry for the bad angles, the tank is set up in the basement and it is hard to photograph as it’s in a clutter of my fish supplies). I don’t think it’s ich (but I could be wrong), I’m thinking it’s either velvet or brook. Please let me know your thoughts, thanks!

What other symptoms are you dealing with

It's only the male that is dealing with some symptoms. He has been flaring his gills/breathing heavily. Also, I think the male also has intestinal parasites because he has been having white poop. I will definitely have to dose metroplex to the clowns as well.

Have you treaded for flukes.
I didn't even think of flukes which would mostly make sense given the symptoms with the exception of the white specs I saw in the beginning (wouldn't that point to either velvet or brook then?). Should I go ahead and treat with prazipro?

I would. The white spots could have been ich.

If it was velvet or brook your fish most likely would have parished already.

I'm not really sure what is in paraguard or why I have paraguard over cupramine, but I have been dosing it for about 2 and a half weeks in the qt tank. Could that have possibly slowed it down? I attached pics of the specs on the male clown the first time I noticed something was wrong.

Doest resemble brook or velvet. Brook makes the fish look like its sloughing skin or mucus. Velvet looks like a fish has been sprinkled with powder sugar.

My guess is flukes and ich.

I would and if the spots come back I would look at treating with copper.
