Not aggression dominance but Breed/type - Many of us have a tank dominant species such as many wrasses, clowns, tangs, aggressive fish, eels as examples. Often we have a specific reason to keep this group whether it be love of the species, colors, etc.

What fish group are the most dominant in your tank?
What made you choose this particular group?
Do you have any regrets keeping this group or was it exactly what you wanted?

Mine will be tang Dominant. Feel free to post pics.

Wrasses dominate my main tank, followed by angels. But in my nano gobies dominate it.

Here’s the Wrasse in my main display (4’x2’x18”) currently I’m at 7 but it’s likely I’ll add an 8th.

Overall, wrasses are the dominant as whilst I’m at a total of 7 in this tank, over both tanks Im at a total of 10 (I plan for a minimum of 11 but if I add the 8th to this tank it’ll be 12). Here’s the 3 that have yet to be shown.

We’ve got a slight addiction but there’s always room for one more ;)

Well, one more and one that is necessary

Do clownfish and chromis count as damsels for this exercise?

If not then also wrasses. Nothing fancy like these guys yet but there's two fairy wrasses, a sixline, and a cleaner in the tank, and a yellow coris in QT.

Yes and clownfish added to the poll

I caught a pigfish, a type of grunt, in a minnow trap and threw that in my main tank. When I caught it it was about the size of a mud minnow. It must’ve tripled in size since then. Unbelievably aggressive feeder. Fights my snowflake eel for every scrap of food and I don’t think I’ve ever seen it sleeping

Yep - very aggressive feeders often scurrying to eat, grows quicky to a foot long

6 of the 13 fish in my 120g are wrasse: Yellow Coris, Leopard, Radiant, McCosker's, Linespot & Exquisite. I love them all.

I like their form, activity level, variety of coloring, pest control & above all, their ability to co-exist as one happy family!
