Fish dying need help

Over the last week I've now slowly lost 3 fish after not losing any fish in close to two years. They go from looking fine, to hiding for a day to dead the next.

Now my beloved powder blue is sick.

I can't see any Ich on him but his fins are looking really bad. The others fish that died didnt have anything on them that looked wrong before or after they died.

No fish have been added or any changes made to the tank other then a couple frags added in the last couple weeks.

I put the tang in my acclimation box to get some pics and to either do something for him or if I need to just take him out.

He looks crazy thin... Has it been eating? What were the other fish that died? If they were all Tangs, could be an internal parasite? I assume you did a water panel test? What were your water quality numbers?

The other fish that were lost were not tangs, a flame hawk and two wrasses.

He was totally fine until yesterday when he wouldnt eat. I think the shadows make it look skinnier then it is. I've had the fish for over 3 years and its always been a skinner then my other tangs, he looks normal other then the fins and strange white spots and of course the behavior.

Water quality?

My buddy borrowed my master test kit just a couple days ago, I've asked for it back. The only thing I could test was the salinity and alk. and my salinity is .025 and alk is at 9.

Everything else in the tank, coral, inverts, and even other fish are all thriving.

Bad timing on not having the test kit. I would do a 40-50% water change. Something is going on and without testing your water you can only guess what is going on. In the mean time, I would set up a quarantine tank for the PB Tang. Wouldn't hurt to treat it with nitrafurazone or something to see if it helps. Good luck, he may be too far gone.

Need water parameters to rule that out... Your fish are dying so I'd be going over to pick the kit back up.

Your tang is super skinny, very skinny. This isn't the look of a healthy tang at all. Can I ask what are you feeding the tank and how often do you feed?
