Start with a big water change at least 50% and add some carbon. How old is the tank?

6 months and I just did a 35% as I didn’t want my corals in the air will do another 1st thing once I have made more water as it’s Easter all LFS closed

More than likely a lack of oxygen from chemiclean. You can run the skimmer without the neck or an air stone.
Going to second this. Per the instructions you need to supplement the oxygen Chemiclean utilizes. I'd recommend a significant water change and carbon to remove the Chemiclean from your water.
