Fish eating less due to pods?

Hello! I’ve noticed my fish are eating less recently. They still react to me coming Up to the tank with food. They still eat. They just don’t have the same voracity that I’m used to. I feed my two clowns once per day with about as much as they can eat in two minutes. I kind of eyeball two chunks I assume Is the upper limit of what they can eat in one go. I also recently saw that the pod population in my tank is exploding. Could they be filling themselves on pods? Water parameter problem? Should I feed less? Thanks!

Also the pod thing is my leading hypothesis because I saw my female clown pluck one off the glass so it just goes hand in hand

yes it could be. as long as they are not showing any signs of disease or illness I wouldn't be concerned.

nah, all fish peck at pods if they see them, but to be "full" enough on pods to not eat regular foods, I dont beleive it, especially if you talking about clownfish, they are the lazy fish of the reef, they wont hunt pods all day.

Clownfish rarely turn down food, they are pigs. If they are eating less, then something is up, but I really doubt they are filling up on pods.
