I was messing around in my tank one day and was feeding baby guppies from my breeder tank to some corals. Lo and behold my Palys happily started eating the guppies. They grabbed hold and completely ate any guppies I fed to them. I met with David today to get some corals and showed him a video and he could barely believe it. Any one else ever had this experience?

They be climbin in yo windows
snatchin yo people up
so hide yo kids
hide yo wives
and hide yo husbands
cuz palys be killin erryone up in here :xd:

Do they actually consume the whole fish? or just hold onto it for a while and then let it go?

I have seen them eat brine shrimp and mysis shrimp but never whole fish!
That's cool.

Has it ever not sucked to be a guppy at all?

Well it's all relative, as they say, but I guess being put in saltwater sucks if you didn't evolve to live in it. Plus I imagine getting eaten by a Paly is probably how Boba Fett felt getting eaten by a Sarlaac. But really who knows, it could feel great.
