So my foxface is started shedding his slime coat and I was wondering if it was weird that my Midas blenny and the foxface are eating the slime coat? Is it harmful? I figured he would spit it back out but he eats it up and the blenny would even eat it straight off of the foxface.

Not that unusual - there are some fish which feed heavily on the mucous of corals and clams, so . . .

Blenny best be careful about using that foxface as a snack-tray. Good way to get stung!
