fish flex (cephalexin) in a reef tank

So I believe I have a bacteria in my tank. I was recommended to try fish flex*cephalexin, but the people I have talked to had seperate frag tanks for this.
Has anyone dosed it directly into their reef tank?

Bump it up. Im pretty sure its bacterial. Setup a 5 gallon tank for few hrs with the fish flex and the skeleton is a bit pink. Need to figure out how to treat main tank.
