I’ve been making my own fish food for a few weeks now and was wounding if how I make it is healthy enough or if I should just go back to frozen mysis.
I just came up with this mix on my own.
frozen raw shrimp
Little rodi water
A little garlic clove and juice
Algae pellets
Reef roids all blended up the fish seem to like it.

I would definitely add other fresh or even frozen seafoods in there (octopus, squid, mussels,CLAMS,fish, scallops, ect)

Mostly sounds like Shrimp Scampi!
If the fish dont like it, ill take it :p

I mix up human consumption grade seafood from a fish monger, i dont use supermarket seafood, thats up to you, just find a reliable source and remember good seafood does not smell, if its smelly thats bacteria and i stay well away from it.
My current mix uses Vitalis pellets, reef roids, aminos, scallop, oyster, crayfish, prawn. Once your fish are identifying it as food, they will go nuts over it, you can pretty much use anything as long as its of good grade.
