Hello all
I am looking to get some (maybe a pair of) clownfish. I want to have items in place/stock when I get the fish. What is the best way on feeding (type of food). I am going to get a Mandarin goby after i get/have a good supply of pods already on hand. Thinking of doing a in tank or HoB fuge for the pods I don't know yet. So back to my main question what type of food for clownfish?

Thinks you for your time in reading my tread, lets keep this hobby going.

Clownfish will accept most frozen foods, pellets, and even flakes. I feed my fish almost exclusively frozen.

What kind of pellets?
Thinking of making my own frozen food, gotta remember where it was at on YouTube

Spectrum are my preferred choice one the rareness occasion I feed pellets

Omega one i also use when need a dry food and only have a big box open.
For salt water this is only for my auto feeder tbh, few sprinkles of food on days i am not going to be home.

Frozen Foods like LRS Reef Frenzy really are best as they generally produce less waste in your tank. Reef Frenzy is kind of an all in one diet for Carnivores and Omnivores (and some herbivores like it as a supplement as well). Clownfish are Omnivores so something like reef frenzy mixed with Seaweed/Nori would be a good way to go. Here is a bit more on reef frenzy:

I make my own frozen and I don't think it would be worth it for a single pair of clowns. I'd go with LRS.
