I have a Tideline 47 AIO tank - so the display section 36.5”x14”x15.75”. I currently have a pair of oscillaris clownfish, a bonded pair of longnose hawkfish, and a mandarin. I’ve had all of these fish >2 years.
I’m looking for something to swim in the water column preferably but honestly any fish for some variety will do. I miss having a bunch of fish actively swimming.
I have two concerns: in my previous tank, a JBJ 45, the hawkfish would beat up a banghaii cardinal fish I had - I ended up giving him away. I’m not sure if the larger display will reduce that aggression - they beaf with the clownfish on occasion but nothing more than flashing spines when they swim near the anemones. I also dont want something that will pick on the mandarin.
Is there any fish that could meet somewhere that will not be likely to be picked on but also isn’t likely to bully the Mandy?
