Fish for 8 gallon frag system

Have a rimless 8 gallon AIO frag sytem and was looking for a fish or 2. I was thinking a firefish and a goby/shrimp pair. It has activated carbon at all times, and has bioballs too. Any recommendations for fish for this tank?

Do you have a sand bed? the goby/shrimp pair will need sand. I have seen recently alot of mandarins in frag tanks.

The tank is not set up yet and I am debating whether or not to get sand

Just my opinion, but if its a frag tank I would skip the sand.
