Hi everyone. I’m looking for new home for my Atlantic blue tang. He needs bigger tank than I have.

How big is it now ?
Do you have a picture?

My tank is 80 gallons. (4 feet long) it looks like is not enough space for this fish. Fish size is around 6 inches.

Wow!!!! Beautiful Atlantic Blue. Do you have it with other Tangs and is he aggressive ?
I have a 240g 8x2x2 300g water volume, but I just added 3 tangs Last weekend.

That's a pretty fish. how big was he when you got him? Has he been easy to care for?

I would think as long as you have places for them to hide it wouldn't be a bad time to add another one. Are the three tangs all new to each other or had they been in a tank together?

All new to each other. The Atlantic would be the largest. The chocolate would be just a little smaller

Here is the tank.

At the end of the day I think it comes down to one thing. Reefing is gambling. You got a lot of swim space but not a lot of hiding space. I'm assuming the three tangs aren't killing each other right now, which is good. If it was me I'd give it a shot but I would maybe add some hiding spaces in the short-term. The other thing to consider is and I don't really have any idea what the answer is the ratio of stocking density to biological filtration. I like the look of your tank too.

I don't hav see a large bio load 7 fish largest being 5 inches. The tank has been set up for almost 2 years. I do plan on adding more rock, currently glueing more together now. How long have you had the Atlantic Tang?

Hope all is well, I pm'ed you Saturday Morning and haven't heard from you. Are you still interested in rehomeing the Atlantic blue?

Ok no problem. I'm available This week or weekend.
