Have a couple of fish question ,, I have set up a new display tank ,, I have some fish from my old display tank ,, in a holding tank ,, but will be looking to add some new fish to the new tank. I have a few $$$ to spend on the new fish and would like to get fish that just not everyone has in their tanks.
I would love to get a Black Tang for the new tank ,, I see some on Divers Den and other vendors pages ,, it says Black Longnose Hybrid Tang ,, these appear to be black except on the faces ,, is this a truely Black Tang or should I be looking for another fish that is truely black ,,, that word Hybrid has me concerned ,, want to be sure what I am getting before I plunk down my $$$ I saw one a fellow reefer is selling in the classified section on R2R ,, very nice looking fish and looked truely all black ,, that makes me think these Hybrids might be something less than what I am looking for.
Gem Tangs
I would like one of these ,, Divers Den has them for $900 ,,, I saw some on another R2R vendors page for like several hundred $$ less ,,, while supply last My question ,,, this is a fish that it appears ,,, the prices are coming down ,, I don't want to be paying close to a $1,000 for a fish that the prices in the near future will be half of that, I would just skip adding this fish to my tank in that case ,, I would replace it with a purple tang ,, although not rare ,, I just like them
Last question
I have always had a Yellow Choris Wrasse in my tank ,, the one I had in my old Display tank died several months before I took that tank down ,,, from old age ,, he was really big and really old ,, had years of enjoying that fish ,, do I want to get one for the new tank ,, yes ,, but everyone has them I have seen a Red Tail Choris wrasse ,,, not many people have them ,, seems they might be a bit harder to find ,, I have looked,, but not hard ,, am sure they can be found. My question ,, are there any down sides to this fish ,, should I be looking to get one ,, or just go with another Yellow Choris Wrasse ?
