I dropped a Diamond Gobie in my tank on Saturday. I was really hoping to see it get to work on the substrate. As soon as I placed it in the tank it darted to to the bottom, behind all the rock of course.
Those few fleeting moments seeing it dart to the bottom were glorious. I would like to see it again sometime, however, and I'm getting concerned that it went kamikaze on me. These things can be a little shy but this is ridiculous so I fear the worst. Admittedly, my aquascaping isn't conducive to locating dead fish. If it died back there i won't be able to easily retrieve it.
How dangerous is this for my tank? 260 gallon total system volume, BTW.
