Been curious to understand .
having the same fish for a long time . It’s hard to tell if they have grown especially looking in a 230 gal

everyone eats , active , but doesn’t appear to be growing .

I think it depends on a lot of factors. For example, the temperature of the tank will influence metabolism. Then, the potential for the presence of waste metabolized may decrease growth rates. This is the case in freshwater cichlids for example, who rely on low nitrates for fast growth. Finally, there is diet- is it high in protein?
Most foods we feed are quality so I doubt it's a food thing. What fish are you talking about? :)

Yellow belly blue tang
Juv emperor angel
Orange shoulder tang

The Only ones I see any increase in size is lucifer the clownfish

Ive seen nothing but growth . Either you see them often Or they are lacking swimming room, type of diets which are low in fat and amino or are fish nearing full size for their type

Some of the fish in question are listed above. .

their diet consists of pellets and flakes soaked in vitachem
Purple seaweed on a veggie clip
Frozen mysis and brine shrimp offered once per week .

swimming space is a 230 gal 72x27x27
I’ll attach a picture

- LRS Herbivore diet
- mysis shrimp
- small plankton
- Nori seaweed basted with garlic extract
- Hikari Marine cuisine

LOL, no. they get 3-4 items mixed each day and I change it up always.
This is an example of plumpness and feeding eagerness with what you see are Some of my tangs

A lot of the items you showed we don’t have access to in Canada .
I tried getting rods food and Lrs years ago but we’re not available here

My fish are 3-4 years old and are 2-10 times as big as yours. I dont vary their diet as much as I used to but still use 4-5 different things.

Take a look at feeding schedules also. A fish fed multiple times a day versus once will grow better.

You should 100% be able to notice growth on the Foxface and the Sailfin Tang, especially if you're noticing growth on the clown fish. Those are two fish that turn into tanks quickly in my experience. I currently have a PBT and Sailfin Tang alone in a 125 and they get 1/3 sheet of Nori and one of the following three -2 cubes of Mysis, or 3/4 gram of TDO, or 3/4 gram of Sustainable Aquatics dry hatchery diet. My Sailfin Tang started out much smaller than the Powder blue, but he's bigger now at 4.5 inches in less than a year.

Perhaps seeing them everyday is why
