fish has something

My clown fish has something, it is white what I call tuffs on his side.
Anyone know what it is?

I know the pics are not the best but he wouldnt stay still

Last couple months I was dosing VSV (Vodka,sugar,vinegar) after a month my clowns got the same looking stuff. I stoped dosing and after a week it's all cleared and and the clowns are fully recovered.
