Fish have stopped eating the food I feed them.

Do I have to feed all of my thawed food? I currently cut my cubes of frozen Mysis shrimp in half, but I find that that is still a lot of food. I also noticed the fish don't eat the pieces that were cut? If I thaw a whole cube (hikari brand) can I keep the unused mysis shrimp in the fridge to feed later or even the next day? Thanks!

What test kit are you using? If I am correct you added fish from week one? Take this with a grain of salt it would of been best to take the advice of taken livestock back to the Lfs and starting over. I am going to say each fish that does is starting a mini cycle over and over again since you never really truly got a good cycle in. Ammonia basically squeeze the fish and I doubt you would eat if you were being super squeezed til the point of suffocating. Please take advice from fellow fish and reef enthuasiast we have all been in your shoes before and learn from each other but unless you take advice giving you will more than likely get bashed on every problem you have or will have from here on due to ignoring what the forum is here for
Good luck and keep wet!

Sorry for the delayed reply I've been very busy. I use API marine tesk kit 1x per week, and I use the test strips in between my full test. I've found the test strip has been very accurate to my full test. I added fish starting week 2 (2 clowns who died by wk4) I'm now in wk 8 and no more deaths (2 weeks with out a death) The water has been perfect according to the test kits. I've added a protein skimmer this past Saturday. Everybody seems healthy and active. The only thing that I'm curious now is my Fire Scallop, who is alive but he's opening this shell very wide. Which was unusual to me because he usually is half open similar to my Avatar pic. I've also started to add some Calcium to the water and feeding bottled plankton mix. I would like to add some LPS Coral this week and 1 new fish in Sept.
