Fish health

I woke up this morning to see an almost slime like substance on one or two of my fish. About to run a nitrate, ammonia, and salinity test. Temp runs at 73 degrees and the fish have been there about a week. There may be a possibility of over feeding because I was concerned about the smaller fish on the bottom eating… but how would I fix it from here?

By the foaming water, you may have a water quality issue. That in turn could be producing the mucus on the fish. However, some diseases also can cause that mucus (I think I can see ich spots). This means you may have multiple issues going on.
