Fish help

Yes it looks like a bite mark but I really dont have any aggresive fish now. I dont have any ictures right now I'll try to get some later on.

It happened sometime on sunday. I have a clownfish, copperband, pink spotted watchman goby (which can be aggresive towards everything), and algae blenny.

I woudn't put it past any of those fish to take a chunk... it's a fish eat fish world out there, and there's no such thing as a "peaceful community tank". Some more than others, but there's always territories and some bickering.

Of course, it could've got itself stuck in a rock or something like that... will wait for pic ;)

I agree totally, a pic still would be helpful as some bacterial infections manifest outward affects as likened to those of a fish bite.

We need to identify what it is first. If it's simply a bite, it will heal, if it's bacterial related, you'll likely want to treat. Even if it is a bite it might be necessary to treat as mentioned by 'Scaper open wounds can lead to infections (just like on us).

I really highly doubt it was (initially) brought on by a bacteria, as it happened so fast. If it becomes infected it will have a hard time spreading assuming your other fish are healthy.
