hey guys just wondering if you have any recommendations for an active (not always hiding) fish that’d go good with a pair of oscellaris and a possum wrasse? (reef safe, 30g)

was thinking about maybe adding a chromis or yellow tail damsel..

thanks!

I can't say I'm an expert but I wouldn't recommend a damsel. Chromis from what I've heard and researched do well... But hell every time I learn something, something else differs... We have a similar set up. We are adding a chromis personally. You do you buddy. Best of luck

Firefish goby, 6 line wrasse, green chromis, strawberry basslet

Nice a possum wrasse! Love those!

Could go for a goby/pistol combo!

really want a blenny. the only thing is i have coral on my sandbed (on my build thread) so i would think it'd be too small a space for a blenny /:
Blennies love rocks, and tight spaces. A canary blenny, or one of the other fang blennies, would be a good addition that would swim around constantly.

i probably wouldn't put a midas blenny in there, but any of the other ecsenius blennies or a meiacanthus blenny would be perfect

meiacanthus ones are super active planktivores, the others are more perching types, but they aren't timid or reclusive

what would be some specific examples of those 3 types of blennies you suggest?

Lawnmower blenny is a good addition. Helps you with algae and has a unique personality compare to existing wrasse and ocellaris. Yellow clown goby is fun also.
But if you want fish that for tank >30G, anthias could be the choice.
