Ok im having aiptasia problem and i tried pep shrimp (hoping my wrasse would leave them along) but he enjoyed them as a snack! -_- So im debating between copperband and a matted filefish (ive been reading and theirs ups and downs on both of them but i need opinion and suggestions! Thanks in advance!

How long has it been that u added the pep shrimp and how many. I had a 75 gal full of aiptasia amd i added five pep shrimp for about a week, the tank was cleaned. There was not one aiptasia left, give the shrimp time to do what it meant to do.

I added 4 and saw the dead bodies of them in the back of the tank

Kleins Butterfly works and is hardier than a Copperband, but may be tempted to nip at corals - the one I had took a liking to LPS.
I did have success with my second attempt at keeping a Copperband for about 2 years - took out the aiptasia but nipped at SPS.

Ok, sounds like the shrimp died. Try them again, this time try acclimating them slowly. When they get eatin, you usually do not find them at all.
