After upon delivery , I noticed the fish have some kind of infection or it may have been bullied.

i messaged the seller right away and they state the fish was most likely damaged from shipping. The packaging was perfectly fine and not damaged .

After inspecting the fish a little more , they looked like bite marks and the fins were all damaged.

Have anyone have any experience of fish getting “damaged” during shipping like this??

Obviously , seller is trying to blame shipping so that he won’t refund me on it.

Fish is now dead 2 days later in my quarantine tank. Waiting for the seller to respond at the moment

I guess you can rule out bullying :)
During shipping lol, maybe your tank mates ;)

Maybe it got attacked by the big bad plastic bag? All joking aside dude should refund you and probably should have never sent it. Peeps be sleazy though.

So it either went in the bag like that or freaked out while in transit and did that to itself smashing around in the bag.
I’ve been to their shop and they keep all the wrasses in the same tank and i highly doubt it can damages itself like that in a bag

Most likely was sent in like this but they won’t admit it. They keep all the wrasse in the same tank

I'm happy to duke this out with you but honestly, I would love it
You clearly have not . I said upon delivery “i noticed the fish have some kind of infection or it may have been bullied.

i messaged the seller right away”

You said it could be my tank mates but how? When I said “upon delivery”

Definition of upon - immediately after

Not for me to say.
You asked, you received reply, good luck.. reef2reef offers only advice...
Take it as this

Generally shipping injuries will result from netting and netting damage

Seller not crediting shipping , he said the damage was due to shipping. Which isn’t right ?
I assume if the truck fell off a mountain road, maybe.
If the fish came out of the bag like that, then it’s seems fair that the seller would cover that and chargeback the transport for damages.

Now if the fish actually was in your system, only for a few minutes, possible damage done by others.

Most good retailers will provide a “arrive alive” guarantee and while not dead on delivery, certainly has trauma.
