Haha thanks. I went to one of my lrs today and saw it and the owner didn't know what it was either. He's never seen it before. It was only 30 bucks so I snatched it up quick. Beautiful creature and very friendly!!

man haha thats going to drive me crazy I have seen this before but cannot think of the name

Pattern kinda reminds me of my melanurus wrasses, but the color isn't quite the same. Christmas wrasse maybe? But again, the colors seem far better than most that I have seen.

A sweet find for sure though!

Definitely not.

Neither of those; it still might be a Halichoeres however.

8 Lined Flasher Wrasse.
Nope.

From what I can see right now, it's a Pseudocheilinus octotaenia (Indonesian variant, male). But I need a better picture myself to confirm that.

Wasn't out this morning. Work all day. Ill try again when I get home. Lines are not solid on this little guy. There dotted and has that bright blue rim around all it's fins

I'm still going to post a better pic for you guys when I get home. It is gorgoues!!!
