Fish id help

They told me it’s a yellow tang I bought 3 months ago the size of my thumbnail
But it don’t look like one
Any help

It is a tang and it is currently yellow... so yes it is a "yellow" tang. The fish store wasn't wrong :)

Nice fish, I love mine and they get even cooler looking once they become adults. Nice pickup!

Yea... mimic tang. It is yellow... now.... it won’t be when it grows up though. They end up brown and they’re very beautiful!
 
If it have a tail spike then it is a Mimic tang. If it have a gill spike then it is a angel fish. Picture not detail enough.
