Fish ID help

I was working with 2 different salespeople and asked for a gold spotted rabbitfish. While the young salesgirl was netting the rabbit my attention was diverted and when I got home later that night I noticed I ended up with something different. It's in my quarantine tank now (which has sort of turned into a display tank of its own over time). This looks a little Wrasse like (especially around the eyes, like a mystery wrasse, but not the colors), or even a hawkfish, but obviously has a regular swim bladder. Anyone recognize it? My worry is I just put a dozen peppermint shrimp in a week or two prior. Thanks.

Yes, that's it, same as the Snooty Wrasse - Cheilinus oxycephalus, thanks. I'd not heard of/seen this wrasse before.

Yeah, definitely a cheilinus species - Be warned they can get relatively aggressive - beautiful fish though, I hope she plays well for you

She shouldn’t go after shrimp that were in before her or that are rather large (2”+). I have a Jade (Halichoeres chloropterus) that’s 4.5” and he completely ignores the Cleaner shrimp and dwarf boxer shrimp in my 4’ tank.

Yeah, I get that feeling of a potential for aggressiveness. A bold fish, was out hunting the live rock within hours of placing into the tank, and already swimming excitedly during feeding time or even as I approach the tank. While that doesn't necessarily mean such boldness begets aggressiveness, I do find it to be correlated. Thanks for the heads up.

I will say that my snooty is fine with other fish ( that I can see ) although I do see my pink margin has a portion of his tail nipped at. Cleaner and Blood Red shrimp are nowhere to be found
