It is a Harlequin Sweetlips. They get very large and look much different as they mature.

 
Agree with everyone else. This fish and Panther Groupers can be so deceiving.. they’re absolutely adorable & gorgeous as babies with almost no indication of how enormous they’ll grow up to be.
 
They’re very cute when they’re little and very boring looking once they’re an adult.
 
I don’t think they look bad as adults but they get so big… with very big mouths that they would eat many fish we keep.

Well, there's always the chalk bass, which just look like they want to eat everything in the tank, but physically can't manage it, and just end up pouting all day.
