Caught off Pensacola Beach today. I have a pretty decent knowledge of fish species but have no idea on this one. I caught it on a sabiki rig in 56 feet of water in the Gulf. I released it.

Xyrichtys novacula, it's a type of razor wrasse.Caught off Pensacola Beach today. I have a pretty decent knowledge of fish species but have no idea on this one. I caught it on a sabiki rig in 56 feet of water in the Gulf. I released it.
