Hi all, I am new to this forum, having been in the saltwater aquarium hobby for about 8 months now. Just today, I saw a fish that was described as a Blue Stripe Dottyback, which looks nothing at all like one at my local LFS. Bought it home because I liked it, and was curious as to what it is. Currently have it in a 32 gallon with two Ocellaris Clownfish, a Bicolor Blenny, and Coral Hawkfish. It’s about 4-4.5” long. Thanks in advance.

David.

Agree, zebra barred dartfish. I have one and they are great fish. A little shy but mine is out and about most of the time. You can keep a group (which I have in the past) The males will display with their "goatee" at each other. This was my group in QT.

Zebra gudgeon/Zebra dartfish be warned they’re closely related to fire fish and require a lid unless you want it on the floor.
