Found on southern coast of California. (Santa Barbara area)
I think it is a type of blenny.

I’ll identify it as pretty awesome! Are you putting him in your tank? Diet wise seems similar to a Mandarin or Dragonette.

Local water temp is between 58 and 69 degrees, my tank is 78. Don’t think it would work very well.
If it is at all possible, how would I do it and do you guys recommend it?
There are hundreds where I saw this guy.

I would guess would be a very long acclimation period where you slowly increase the temp on him and see if he makes it. I don’t know I didn’t even think about the water temp until you mentioned it.
