I was snorkeling in Honolua Bay in Maui and got some footage of a fish I have never seen before. I can't find anything on the interwebs. Any ideas? Looks like some type of angel.

I grew up snorkeling and diving in Hawaii. I mostly know the names of the bigger varieties of fish vs the ones we see in the hobby. So hopefully I can help. (But yes, my cell phone won’t let me view the video. A screenshot would be nice).

Best angle from the video.

Researching this fish some more, wondering how it ended up in Hawaii...
Wonder if that series of hurricanes pushed over the eggs to this area..

The threadfin jack inhabits both deeper coastal waters and inshore environments, including reefs and estuaries. And are found all over in tropical waters
