Fishermen will get these in their catch and sell to fish stores. My friend said this particular LFS gets lots of weird stuff in. So I have a new place to hang out.

3:00 am here slow night time to call it ,lol and i'll prob be here another hour, addicted to say the least
 
Difficult from the photo but if it spends it's time hiding in the rocks, that doesn't suggest a hawkfish. Could be an anthias from the Plectranthias group.
Good call. Looks similar but most seem red?
 
Looks like the spotted mutton hamlet
 
Someone in my reef club mentioned it could be a brown spotted grouper. Looking at the mouth, I can see that.
 
Missed this last month but without a better picture it is either Epinephelus macrospilos or Epinephelus merra . The latter is more common in the trade.
